When the apostle Peter wrote his first letter, this is how he described the followers of Jesus together:
"You also, like living stones,
are being built into a spiritual house."
But what holds the living stones together? Well, getting to know each other is a start. Just as cement holds real stones together, we based on the name of our group charged with this building work on a brand of cement! Hence the Blue Circle group.
Events planned for 2008 are:
Fair Trade Feast! April 26 2008 7 - 10pm
An opportunity to become more aware of the huge range of Fair Trade foods available.
Garden Party June 21 2008 3 – 5pm
A chance to dress up and swan about the grounds(!) to celebrate forty years of New Farm Loch
Car Treasure Hunt August 16 2008 6pm onwards
Get lost! Yes, really - but what a laugh it could be!
Harvest Supper October 27 2008 evening
Celebrating God’s goodness together by eating, thinking and being merry - which we’ll continue over into our Sunday worship (though there may be ime to go home between these two events).
Christmas Party December (date and time to be decided)
Great fun together at a party-filled time of the year.
